This film explores child’s play through the eyes of a young girl.

To devise the piece Shelly worked with Willow, a seven-year old girl.

Using the camera to reflect Willow’s point of view, the film is experimental in form and conjures up a day dream world with an altered sense of time.

This is Shelly’s first film behind the camera.

Little White Bird was made with support from South East Arts, was broadcast on CH4 and screens internationally at film, dance film and arts festivals.
