‘This film explores child’s play through the eyes of a young girl..’
To devise this film Shelly collaborated with Willow, the seven-year old girl who performs in the film. Using the camera to reflect Willow’s point of view, the film conjures up a day dream world where both the dark and light aspects of the child’s imagination are explored.
Little White Bird was made with support from South East Arts, it has screened at film, dance film and arts festivals worldwide and has been broadcast on Channel 4.
